Hampton Tennis Club
Hampton Tennis Club is in the heart of the beachside village of Hampton. With 4 championship hard courts (Deco-Turf, the surface used in the US Open) with lights, this club suits beginners through to the professional. There is a clubhouse, BBQ facilities, kitchen and a play area for the kids.
Today the club is a friendly, community based club with a thriving membership and a bright future.
Membership
Membership entitles you to a range of benefits including, playing on the same surface as the US Open, social day and night tennis, the opportunity to join inter club teams, clubhouse and facilities use, your own personal key, the right to nominate for membership of the club committee, the right to vote at the annual general meeting, invitations to social events. A 'Fair Go' policy is used at Hampton Tennis Club and members cannot use the courts more than 4 hours a week.
Competition
The club offers internal as well as inter-club competitions for members. Competitions include Monday Night Men's Competition and Tuesday Night Women's Competition
Coaching
Hits Tennis offer a range of programs suited to all levels and aspirations, with a pathway for development. Directed by Frank Tamborriello, a Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach with over 20 years of coaching experience, all staff undergo extensive and ongoing professional development tailored to keep abreast of modern tennis teaching methods.
Services and Programs include:
- ANZ Hot Shots - A fun and challenging program using modified equipment to make learning tennis manageable and enjoyable. Designed for children between the ages of 4 - 10 years old, Hotshots develops the ABC's (agility / balance / coordination) while developing fundamental motor skills, confidence and hand eye coordination.
- Junior Development - Designed for players aged 10 years and above progressing from Hot Shots or new to the game. Junior Development is targeted for players considering club competition or just wanting to learn tennis and includes Individual, Group and Squad Lessons.
- Adult Group Lessons - Designed to improve your technique, footwork and tactical knowledge using modern teaching techniques and methodologies. Conducted in a fun, energetic and social environment, Adult Group Lessons are aimed at increasing your skill level.
- Private Lessons and Semi Private Lessons - The ultimate way to fast track development. Private Lessons provide intense focus on the technical, tactical and mental aspects of tennis and are designed to meet the needs of each individual
