Halls Gap - Grampians Flora Botanic Gardens

Halls Gap - Grampians Flora Botanic Gardens

Situated between the tennis courts and the path to Venus Baths is a small garden devoted to our Grampians Flora. It is totally volunteer funded and managed. It is wheelchair and child friendly.

Review:

The Gardens are located where the walk to the Venus Baths starts. It is a nice compact area which is surrounded by a fence. Please make sure that you close the gate when you enter or leave.

There are a number of different areas and interesting sculptures dot the gardens. Emily the Emu was created by sculptor Lawrence Marshall and horse shoes, cultivator springs, idler pulleys, scarifier points and plough disc were used to form the sculpture.

There is a huge gum tree with a hollow where the whole family can nestle inside, a wetlands area with oval boardwalk, information boards and a range of vegetation. You have a good chance of finding some native fauna also. Overall you could explore the gardens in around 10-15 minutes.
