Fast becoming recognised as the best in Australia, this 18 hole course is set on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Two mini mountains form the centre of the course from which six waterfalls & streams meander around, over & under the greens. Themed around the magnificent Grampians mountains in Victoria, many of the holes are named after popular tourist icons. i.e the 7th hole is 'The Grand Canyon', The 18th is 'The Pinnacle' and the 10th is the 'Nerve Test'.

Construction of a unique course designed and built to provide fun and entertainment for all age groups, and to complement our natural environment took just over twelve months to complete.

Set on one hectare in Halls Gap, in the heart of the magnificent Grampians National Park, Grampians Adventure Golf is an 18 hole course themed around some of the more popular local icons such as Mt William, The Pinnacle and the Grand Canyon to name just a few.

Six waterfalls and stream cascade over, under and around two small mountains to make up just some of the challenges and obstacles that players must overcome. Apart from playing the game on a meticulously kept course, the experience of travelling though the beautifully landscaped gardens with so many different plant types, and the ambience that the waterfalls, streams and ponds create, our customers are given an experience that is a pure delight.

The course is based around the Grampians National Park, over 50,000 tonnes of locally sourced rock was brought in to build mini mountains, waterfalls, streams and ponds to complement the environment. There are over 2000 plants throughout the course, many indigenous to our area used to create a totally unique Adventure Golf course.

The course has 18 holes which are long and quite difficult. There is quite a lot of variety between the holes. It is more suited to adults who like a challenging course because kids could find it difficult and frustrating. Each hole of the course is named after an attraction in the Grampians e.g. The Grand Canyon and the Pinnacles. If you don't want to endure a long and hard walk up to the Pinnacles but still want to boast about it to your friends then do the Pinnacles hole and say to your friends that you've done the Pinnacles.

There is plenty of water around the course and nets are provided to retrieve your ball (if you can find it). One hole goes down into the ground and generally ends in a deep hole which necessitates going back to reception to get another ball. At other points the water sweeps the ball away out of reach.

There is a very interesting hole called the Nerve Test where you get the option of going the direct route down a sloping plank or a more indirect route. The direct route is very tricky to get the ball to safety.

There are a lot of trees and shrubs around the course which provide shade on a hot day.

A few gripes about the course included the fact that most of the flag poles were sloping at an angle which sometimes makes it difficult to get the ball into the hole and the layout is a little confusing in some places since the holes are very tightly packed in.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a small art gallery there, MOCO Gallery, which features a range of traditional and contemporary art, featuring both renowned artists and emerging artists from the region.
