H Swain Reserve Playground, Oakover Road, Preston
The playground was upgraded in 2014 and has an interesting collection of play equipment. At the centre is a structure with two wave slides of different heights, monkey bars, blackboard, hanging disks, tunnel, climbing walls and shop front. Also a big pyramid rope climbing frame, carousel to sit on and spin around, sandpit, standard swings, birds nest swing, upside down U-shaped see-saw, little three person springer and a red train cabin with two seats and steering wheels. Plenty of logs and rocks scattered about.
Two unshaded tables and seats plus good sized grassy area.
