Greenwood Reserve (Bundoora)
This 2.5 hectare reserve of bushland and open space is near Gresswell Forest in Bundoora. This area is environmentally important because it is close to that forrest, and is a part of the wildlife corridor connecting Gresswell Forest to La Trobe University.
Activities in the park include walking/bike trails and wildlife observation. There is a playground in the reserve.
Flora and Fauna
This reserve is in the Gippsland Plain bioregion, and the plant community is plains grassy woodland, listed as endangered due to development, land clearing and incorrect land management practices.
There are about 30 indigenous plant species in the reserve, including chocolate lilies, running postman and creeping bossiaea.
Access for Dogs
Dogs are permitted off lead.
