Whitewater Kayaking
Experience a wild ride with this whitewater kayaking adventure! Paddle down Melbourne's very own Yarra river from the seat of a two-man inflatable kayak! Tackle Bobs rock and the finger-grater rapid! Challenge yourself as you paddle down the exhilarating rapids whilst negotiating the twists and turns on this whitewater kayaking adventure!
The experienced team will kit you out with the latest gear and kayak and demonstrate how to paddle and steer the kayak with ease. The kayaks we use are very stable and forgiving so it is suitable for total beginners to navigate their way down the rapids. Then it's two fantastic adrenaline-packed hours on grade 2 rapids.
The water level is lower in summer months which make the rapids more technical. For a wild ride we recommend coming along during winter months when the water level is generally much higher with large waves and furious rapids!
Sports Rafting
Sports rafting is an adrenaline fuelled adventure. You will paddle down thrilling white-water and negotiate your 2 person raft down challenging rapids whilst enjoying the picture-perfect scenery of Melbourne's Yarra river!
Tackle Melbourne's very own Yarra river in a two-person inflatable sports raft! Paddle your way through exhilarating rapids with names such as "Bob's rock" and "pinball rapid". This white-water adventure is so much fun you will be smiling all day long! With the added convenience of being so close to Melbourne, it is the perfect day trip for some thrills and spills!
We will kit you out with the latest gear and sports raft, and then it's two fantastic adrenaline-packed hours on grade 1-2 rapids.
You will paddle through stunning gorges and valleys filled with native bush land and wildlife. Steer your way down the river whilst negotiating the twists and turns of exciting grade 1-2 white-water.
Adventure Caving at Labertouche
Labertouche is a fascinating explorative adventure caving journey and is suitable for all levels of experience, whether you're a newbie or a seasoned veteran. This caving adventure is around 3 hours long and starts with an abseil into the cave. With only one entry and one exit, this caving adventure is not for the faint at heart.
At its deepest point the granite boulder cave is around 40 metres underground, which has been carved out by fast flowing water!
Our route follows an underground creek, which flows from one end and out the other! We will be climbing over giant boulders, squeezing through some tight spaces, negotiating challenging obstacles and wading through subterranean waters. If you are feeling adventurous this is the cave for you! Being one of only 5 granite boulder caves in Victoria makes it quite a rare cave, and one perfect for adventure caving.
This cave is suitable for most people with an adventurous side to them, however there is only one entry and one exit point, so once you are inside the cave you are 100% committed to finishing it. If you are feeling nervous or intimidated, we recommend our other caving experience in Britannia caves, which has multiple exit points and slightly less confronting.
Adventure Caving at Britannia Caves
Formed over thousands of years of water erosion, these huge granite boulders jumbled on top of each other make this caving adventure a thrilling experience, and houses a unique eco-system of glow worms, cave crickets and fungi, amongst others.
You will wade through subterranean rivers, crawl through some tight squeezes, negotiate your way over chasms and view the beautiful glow worms. There are multiple exits and entries to the cave system, which enables even the most claustrophobic of people to have an enjoyable time.
This adventure can be quite physical but guaranteed it is worth the effort. This is an activity close to Melbourne that can be enjoyed by almost anyone so get ready for the awesomeness and come caving with us!
