Gisborne Golf Course Kanga Tours
Gisborne Golf Club is an easy 45-minute (60 km) drive from Melbourne and has a large wild population of around 200 Eastern Grey kangaroos, ranging from large males all the way down to baby joeys. The kangaroos roam around the golf course amongst the golfers, and you'll be able to get very close to them in the wild whilst they go about their normal day from the comfort of a 5-seater golf buggy, hosted by one of our volunteers.
Opening Hours:
Tours operate 7 days per week for 30 minutes between 10:00am and 5:20pm (concluding at 6pm)
The tour will be hosted by one of our volunteers in a specially-built golf buggy that fits 5 people. Larger groups can also be accommodated. You'll tour the course to find the best vantage points and be able to take lots of photos.
We have around 200 kangaroos on course, so we guarantee that you will see them, or your money back.
Note: Unaccompanied pedestrians are not permitted for safety reasons.
In order to get closer to the kangaroos, we advise all visitors not to wear very bright clothing as this may scare the kangaroos off.
