Girasole Yarra Valley Sunflowers

Girasole Yarra Valley is a family farm with U-pick sunflower fields, where you can wander among golden blooms, soak in the beauty of the season and take home a little sunshine of your own.

The word for sunflower is girasole. It's like a little riddle: gira means "to turn" and sole means "sun". So a girasole is literally a "sun-turner" since sunflowers turn their heads to follow the sun all day long. They're like nature's little sun-chasers!

Opening Hours:

In season (which lasts about three weeks), open on weekends only. However, please monitor social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) for the most up to date opening times.

Prices:

Admission tickets to the farm are $10 for adults and free for children under 12. Secateurs are also available to hire at the farm for $5.
You can purchase one stem for $6 and a bunch of 6 for $30. There is no limit to the amount of flowers you can take home.

You can book tickets online before you arrive (preferred method)
EFTPOS is available at the farm and is the preferred payment method.
Toilets are available at the farm
Food and drink is not available on the farm. You are encouraged to pack a picnic or some snacks along with a picnic blanket and enjoy a bite to eat amongst the flowers.
Wear closed toe shoes and bring a hat and sunscreen.
