George Woods Reserve Playground, Governor Road, Mordialloc
A fun adventure type play area which has a big, high wooden structure and a large sandpit. The structure has two wave slides which can be accessed by a rope ladder, metal ladder or a rope bridge from another part of the structure which has a cubby underneath, climbing wall, steps, shop front, tunnel, clanger inside pipes and a steering wheel.
The large sandpit has a nautical theme with a ship's wheelhouse and canoes and a plank for pirates to walk unfortunate souls.
There is a huge birds nest swing, standard swings, sit-in spinner with hand-wheel and lots of log trails to balance along.
Shelter with two tables and BBQs, unshaded table and seats, water tap and grassy area. Located quite close to Mordialloc Creek.
