George Grumont Reserve Playground, Stanley Street, The Basin
This area is a significant conservation area and it might be possible to sight a Tawny Frogmouth - but you are more likely to sight Happy Faces. A bridge over a dry area of rocks leads to the playground which is set next to a small area of bushland. There is a structure with wave slide, tunnel, fireman's pole, climbing wall and cubby underneath. Also a see-saw and swings (one with harness).
Nicely landscaped with rocks and logs (which also act as seats). Some grassy area. The playground was upgraded in 2014.
