Gembrook Leisure Park Playground, Beenak East Road, Gembrook
A delightful playground which has had a big upgrade. Under shade sails is a big wooden train, spinning carousel and play area for young kids with a clock panel, tunnel, abacus, in-ground trampoline and speak and listen system.
A long wooden structure with high and low ends for different ages has dual wave slides, big single wave slide, climbing wall, walkways, bridges, shop front, curved slide, monkey bars, vertical rope net, various ladders, disks on a vertical pole and high fireman's pole.
Also a flying fox with disk seat, big rope climbing frame, birds nest swing, three standard swings, swing with harness seat, stand-on spinner and kangaroo springer. There are delightful wooden sculptures of a skink, lyrebird, echidna, bilby and wombat - we even saw a real wombat wander across the playground when we were there.
Shelter with two tables, BBQs and water tap, toilets, basketball court with basketball ring, netball ring and soccer goal and a nice skate park. There are no grassy areas for play.
There is a skate park in the reserve.
