Gardiner Reserve Playground, Haines Street, North Melbourne
A three for one deal. One playground area has a structure with spiral slide, curved slide, tunnel, tic-tac-toe, shop front, "tree" ladder and inclined climbing mat. Also another structure with high platform which has ladders, fireman's pole, horizontal bar, high climber, walkway, shop front, scrambling wall and chain bridge. Unusual four legged spider climbing frame, springer, two swings without safety chain and standalone monkey rungs.
A second area has a toddler structure with tic-tac-toe, abacus, panel and shop front.
Third area has a structure with walkways, wave slide, binoculars, fireman's pole, little climbing wall, shop front, chain bridge, tunnel and steering wheel. Two swings with safety chain.
BBQs and shaded and unshaded tables and seats. Water tap. Reasonable amount of grassy area. Some protection from the roads by partial fencing. There is some partial natural shade at the playground.
