Gallway Drive Playground, Eaglehawk
To get to the playground, you need the nerve to walk past a snake which looks rather ill-tempered. Since the snake is a wooden sculpture, that is probably not so difficult to do. Follow the snaking path to an owl guarding the playground. Tip - come in the morning when the owl is sleeping and sneak past.
The playground has swings, see-saw and structure with wave slide, scrambling wall, steps, shopfront, another smaller slide, inclined walkway, monkey bars and vertical rope net.
There are two unshaded seats. A person living next to the playground has racing pigeons as an added attraction.
