Forest Park Playground, Nicholson Street, Orbost
The park has a range of interesting elements and is located near the Tourist Information Centre. The playground has a big metal climbing frame with a high arch ladder, carousel, rodeo board on springs, another climbing structure with slide, a rope climbing net, see-saw, star springer, game board for younger kids and swings.
Beside the playground is a shelter with a table and BBQ plus four unshaded tables in a grassy area plus a shelter with tables, BBQ, more unshaded tables, water tap and toilets.
Across a bridge which crosses a wetlands meadow garden is an exercise site. There are lots of information panels scattered about including some near the Snowy River. There is a lovely mosaic path and carved timber sculptures which were created in 1997 but are now a little worse for wear.
