Footscray Library Storytime

Maribyrnong Library Service hold a range of activities at their libraries for children. These are designed to be fun and educational, helping your child grow and develop in social situations.

Storytime programs held at Maribyrnong libraries include:

Baby Rhyme Time
Fun filled sessions of rhymes, stories and songs to help your child develop language and literacy skills. Suitable for 0-1 years and their families.

Toddler Time
Toddler Time is specially designed to engage toddlers in all areas of childhood development through singing, stories, movement, literacy, language, and play. Suitable for ages 1-3.

Story Time
Encourage a love of reading and help your child develop their literacy skills! Suitable for children aged 3-5 years and their families. Sessions run for approximately 30 minutes, during school terms only.

Bilingual Story Time
Encourage a love of reading and support your child's bilingual language learning together. Share stories, songs and rhymes in English and your community language in a supportive and welcoming environment. Suitable for ages 0-5 years.
