Fergusons Paddock Playground, Heidelberg-Kinglake Road, Hurstbridge
An amazing array of sporting areas and playgrounds for public access which are located behind the Hurstbridge Primary School.
At the far end, it starts with a football field, play areas with an artificial surface and netball / basketball courts. Next to this is a structure with wave slide, scrambling wall, walkway, curved ladder, spiral ladder, climber, hanging disks, monkey bars, horizontal bars and vertical square shaped rope climbing frame.
Next to this is a tennis wall and playground area No. 2. This has a structure with wave slide, ladder with square rungs, scrambling wall, curved climber, sloping parallel bars, climbing mat, monkey bars, balance beam, hanging disks, flying fox, monkey rungs and horizontal bars.
Playground area No. 3 has a soft tiled surface. The structure has a wave slide, curved slide, shop front, ladder with square rungs, ladder, tic-tac-toe, walkway, steering wheel, scrambling wall, climber, chain traverse and monkey bars.
Area No. 4 has a large plastic pirate ship, two spiral slides, curved climbing wall with sea-life holds, steps, tunnel and spiral ladder.
Area No. 5 has an octagonal structure with steps, shop front, ladder, cubby area underneath, tunnel, tic-tac-toe, steering wheel, abacus and number panel.
Area No. 6 is partially under shade sails. Structure has a wave slide, vertical pole with small circular footholds, walkway, chain bridge, ladder with square rungs, monkey bars, scrambling wall and horizontal bars. This structure is basically duplicated under the shade sails plus a cubby area with steering wheel, seat, shop front and tunnel plus a rope ladder.
Huge grassy area. Shelter and shaded and unshaded seats scattered about.
