Federal Reserve Playground, Oakhill Road, Mount Waverley
Large open area with trees which seems to be a dog magnet since it is an off-leash area for dogs.
The main structure has a ramp which leads initially to a wave slide, ladder, steering wheel, tic-tac-toe and clock panel, and then leads on further to more little ladders, mirror, tunnel, panels with birds and finally higher across an inclined metal bridge to dual wave slides, maze panel, scrambling wall, speak and listen system, fireman's pole and shop front. There is also a medium sized rope climbing frame pyramid, large wooden cubby, swings (one with harness), stand-on spinner and birds nest swing and stepping logs.
Large shelter without walls with two long tables and an unshaded table. Big grassy area dotted with trees and a bit of a BMX Track. The playground was upgraded in 2013.
The reserve is a dog off leash area.
The Essex Heights Tennis Club is located at the Barton Street entrance and offers a hard court surface.
