Dogs are permitted off leash (yellow on the map) along the western side and southern side (south of Cordner Oval). There is a small triangle (red on the map) where dogs are prohibited. Dogs are allowed on leash in the remainder of the park (green on the map).
The park has huge grassy areas dotted with lovely trees and intersected by many paths. Many of the grassy areas are soccer fields with soccer goal frames. Along Commercial Road are bins, tables and toilets (there are other toilets in the on-leash area). There are also some water taps with bowls at a number of places. One of the issues with this place is the difficulty finding a parking spot but on the other hand you might come across a Quidditch match on Sundays.
