Howmans Gap is an alpine centre and adventure camp located by Falls Creek. At the gateway of the magnificent Bogong High Plains, Howmans Gap Alpine Centre offers exhilarating alpine experiences for all seasons. We are available for schools, sporting groups, weddings, family groups, corporate groups, youth groups and more.
There are so many great outdoor activities to do at Falls Creek: bushwalking; cross country skiing; cycling; downhill skiing; fishing; mountain biking; running; snow boarding; wildflower Spotting and more. At Howmans Gap, we can create an experience tailored to your needs. We offer a variety of packages throughout the year - from snow adventures in winter, to experiencing the alpine high country in summer.
We cater to schools and groups and we're open all year round. We run a variety of fun programs and activities to suit every group: from skiing and tobogganing in winter, to orienteering and mountain biking in summer.
Our state-of-the-art Alpine Accessible Accommodation building is fully accessible - which means we're suited for everybody. We also have a range of facilities for hire.
Everyone is welcome in winter - from individuals and families to schools and community groups. We usually cater for schools during the week, and individuals, families and community groups on weekends and during school holidays. In summer, our camp is open to schools and large groups.
