A huge grassy area with eight sports fields which are all dog off leash areas except for when the sports fields area in use. There are so many ovals that you are sure to find some that are available for dogs to roam off leash. There are bins and seats next to most ovals.
On the south side is a golf driving range where dogs are prohibited and all other areas, apart from the fields, dogs must be on leash. There is a huge pavilion along Woods Street where there are bins. Generally there aren't a lot of trees in the reserve.
In the south east corner there is a playground which has a shelter with table, bins, toilets and water tap with bowl. There is another playground in the north of the reserve with table, bins, toilets and water tap with bowl.
There is also a gravel walking path beside the Maribyrnong River.
