Epping North Scout Group
Epping North Scout Group has a Joey scout mob (age range: 5-7), Cub scout pack (age range: 8-10), Scout troop (age range: 11-14) and Venturer unit (age range: 15-17).
Scouting is a worldwide Movement in 161 countries, with distinct age levels and programs that has shaped the development of youth and adults for over 100 years. Scouts are in every part of our community, and Scouts is the biggest and pre-eminent youth organisation in Australia. More than 20,000 boys, girls, and adults in Victoria from wide cultural or religious backgrounds including those with an intellectual or physical disability enjoy an unlimited range of activities in the bush, the sea, the rivers, the towns & cities and the mountains.
The aim of Scouting is to encourage the social, physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development of young people so they may play a constructive role in society as responsible citizens and as members of their local and international communities. This aim is achieved through a strong and active program that inspires young people to do their best and to always be prepared.
In Victoria we have over 16,000 youth members across the state.
We encourage young people to challenge themselves with fun activities that promote social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth.
We meet at Galada Community Centre in Epping North.
