Emerald Tennis Club

Emerald Tennis Club is set back from the hustle and bustle of Belgrave-Gembrook Road behind Worrell Reserve. We enjoy the most tranquil of settings with a background soundtrack of birds and the Puffing Billy whistle in the distance.

The club encourages the fun, fitness and friendship aspect of tennis and fosters a friendly community atmosphere aimed at ensuring healthy fun and enjoyment for members of all ages, regardless of playing ability.

We currently run social sessions at multiple times per week. All members or potential members are welcome to join in. These groups are intended to be all inclusive and a fun way to have a hit in a no pressure environment.

Coaching - The club coach is Ian Paterson of Intense Tennis. He is a level 2 Advanced Tennis Australia Qualified Tennis Coach who has over 20 years of playing and coaching experience. Intense Tennis runs classes for all standards of junior and adult players. Both day and evening classes are available. Ian strives to give a professional service in a fun and friendly environment, to give all people a chance to experience tennis so that the sport can grow and develop in our community.

Competition - We offer many opportunities for various ages and skill levels to play competition tennis representing Emerald Tennis Club including night tennis, midweek ladies and Junior comp.

Emerald Tennis Club has seven courts surfaced with en tout cas, five of which have lighting for use at night.
