Elgar Park Playground, Belmore Road, Mont Albert North
The playground is located next to the Box Hill Steam Miniature Railway and off course there is a rail theme throughout the playground.
Get off at the Mont Albert North train platform and then head across to your choice of train. There is a train with a pipe frame engine with curved slide and rope net bridge which leads to a big scrambling log, monkey rungs, hanging disk traverse and a stepping stone bridge leads to a wave slide and fireman's pole.
There is also a standalone red train with two steering wheels. Apart from some logs to walk along (or maybe to throw in the fire to generate a good head of steam), there are also two standard swings and a birds nest swing. There is some grassy play area, four unshaded tables and a water tap. The playground has been upgraded.
