Duncan MacKinnon Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Murrumbeena)

The two sportsgrounds with cricket pitches are dog off-leash areas. The netball courts (southern end), Athletics track (south east side), car park (southern end) and playground area (northern corner) are dog on-leash areas.

Near the playground is a water tap without bowl and a bin. The grassy bank along Crosbie Road near the playground is a good exercise place for humans and dogs going up and down the bank. This area also has a shade roof and a water tap with bowl. A concreate path runs down the east side next to the Athletics track which is separated by a fence until it reaches the Netball area which has a huge number of netball courts and is on-leash for dogs.

On the west side along Murrumbeena Road, where there is a fence with gaps, is a basic exercise gym, bin, water tap with a bowl, toilets and shade roof. The reserve on the western side of Murrumbeena Road is Mallanbool Reserve which is an interesting area but is a dog on-leash.
