Dunach - Mount Greenock Geological Reserve
Mount Greenock Geological Reserve features an extinct volcano and was the location of the historical Union Mine. It is on the Major Mitchell trail.
It is a great example of a volcano and lava flow associated with a deep lead and a large scoria cone is observable.
There are some picnic tables and an information sign.
Location - The reserve is along the Ballarat-Maryborough Road between Mitchell Road and Fells Gully Road.
