Doug Hull Adventure Park Playground, Carr Street, Coburg
Nice elevated position overlooking Merri Creek. This is the Doug Hull Adventure park. I think Doug must have been someone who suffers apprehension putting his foot into a bowl of sardines because this is not entitled to be called an Adventure park. Nonetheless, it is a very nice playground with the main structure forming a square which can be traversed without touching the ground (if you are good enough). Comprises wave slide, fireman's pole, ladders, climbing mat, walkway, chain bridge, monkey bars, horizontal bars, disks on a vertical pole, flying fox, stepping stones, balance beam, hanging rope traverse and climbing walls. Also stand-on spinning disk (broken), springers, train play area and swings. Seats with shade. Does pack a lot of equipment into a small area.
