Don Jackson Reserve Playground, Union Avenue, Pakenham

The playground has a purple colour scheme which reminds me of Cadburys chocolates. Don't come here to play on a hungry stomach or at least bring along some snacks.

The main play structure caters for different age ranges and has dual wave slides, climbing walls, inclined climbing bridge, net bridge, small straight slide, monkey bars, disks on a vertical pole, shop front and another wave slide. Also a spinning disk to sit on, big bee springer with two seats, big rope net climbing frame and a row of swings including a basket swing, swing with harness and three standard swings.

Next to the playground is an outdoor gym, basketball court and grassy area including an oval. This playground has been upgraded. Across the other side of the oval is a shelter with table and seat plus a water tap. The reserve has a fenced dog park.

Update: The playground is now fully covered by shade sails.
