Dimboola - Nine Creeks to Weir Walk
Starting from the end the rear of the Dimboola Library, or across the culvert from the end of Lochiel Street, this 1.1km walk takes you past the historic Chinese Gardens location to the Dimboola Weir. You can return to the start by retracing your steps or joining one of the other Dimboola 9 Creeks walks.

Points of Interest on the Walk
1. Nine Creeks Walks
After crossing the culvert at the end of Lochiel Street and entering the Nine Creeks Reserve, take the left-hand road to begin your walk along the Weir Track
2. Chinese Market Gardens
The Chinese established market gardens in Dimboola originally as part of the Gold Escort Route providing vegetables for people as they moved between the South Australian and Victorian Goldfields.
3. Dimboola Weir
During dry periods the Dimboola Weir plays an important role retaining water in the weir pool, keeping a large part of the river through the town at a level usable for recreation.
