Dega Avenue Playground, Bentleigh East

The Economic Stimulus Plan paid for an upgrade of this playground (probably by putting shade sails over an old and uninspired playground). Kevin Rudd wastes more of our money and needlessly adds to the huge debt burden our children will face.

The structure has a curved slide, chain bridge, various ladders, flying fox and monkey bars. Also a wooden Thomas train (poor attention to detail according to my son since Thomas is actually blue), see-saw, two springers and swings. Unshaded table and seats.

Water tap. Protected from the road. Very small grassy area. Ball games are prohibited as are motor bikes. Why anyone would try and ride a motorbike in such a small area is beyond my understanding.

Access for Dogs:

Dega Avenue Park is an on-leash area, which means you must keep your dog on-leash at all times.
