Daylesford - Notional Trust Signs
Some fun "Notional Trust" signs on the front facade of the Paradise Bookshop at 46 Vincent Street, Daylesford.
They seem like "NAtional Trust" signs but they are actually "NOtional Trust" signs!
NOTIONAL TRUST AUSTRALIA - ON THIS SPOT on the first day of March 1755 nothing much happened. It was a very, very peaceful day.
NOTIONAL TRUST AUSTRALIA - Built in 1865 by John Clayfield, who also built the Council chambers, Post Office and Daylesford Primary School. This building has at various times housed a draper, a wine merchant, a jeweller and The State Savings Bank of Victoria (1885). It is now home to one of the most interesting bookshops in the country. WELCOME TO PARADISE.
