Darebin Toy Library (Northcote)
Darebin Toy Library is a free council service that acknowledges play as a vital tool for children's learning and overall development. We aim to provide affordable access to high quality toys and equipment and information to help promote play. The library also aims to provide opportunities for members to link in with related services, other members and to be involved through volunteering in the running of the service.
The Toy Library allows members to borrow quality toys for babies and children up to 6 years of age, to enhance their early learning experiences through play.
Membership is FREE and families can borrow 3 toys per child for a period of 3 weeks. Join Library.
Existing members can sign in and book an appointment to return/borrow toys, view the toys you have on loan and renew your toys for a further 3 weeks.
The Toy Library is currently operating on an appointment-based service only. Appointments can be made online by signing in and booking an appointment. It is anticipated that the service will make further improvements in 2023, including transitioning to a walk in service access during opening hours.
