Dandelion Kids offers social learning groups for children on the autism spectrum.
Social Learning Drama - Thursdays
A group of up to 6 children with a teacher and teacher aide. Each class has a social learning focus which is explored through drama and the development of a narrative together. We draw on Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking methodology. Parents are provided with documentation each week which outlines the activities, methodology and offers suggestions for at home activities and practise.
Art-Craft Social Group - Thursdays
An opportunity for those with a passion or interest in art and craft to meet and create with other like-minded children on the autism spectrum.
Make friends, talk with others while creating, share your work and be inspired, learn and make art.
Based at Yarraville Community Centre. There are also sessions in Caroline Springs.
