Crown's Christmas Spectacular is exactly that. SPECTACULAR!
Each year, Crown is proud to present Australia's largest and most spectacular display of Christmas decorations. Continuing a true Melbourne tradition, Crown will again amaze guests and light up the Grand Atrium and Riverwalk for Christmas this December.
Feel the magic of everyone's favourite holiday as Crown transforms into a wonderland filled with live entertainment family fun and lashings of Christmas cheer.
Program for Christmas 2024
Crown's Live Christmas Show
This 20-minute spectacular features live dancing, singing, Christmas carols performed by the Australian Girls Choir and National Boys Choir, and a special visit from Santa!
When: 1pm, 3pm and 5pm Friday 13th December - Sunday 15th December and Friday 20th December - Tuesday 24th December

Photos with Santa
Receive a free photo with Santa that can be sent directly to your mobile phone.
When: Sunday 1 December - Tuesday 24 December 11am - 5pm in the Atrium
Note: Santa will sometimes take a 20 minute break tending to his reindeers.

Crown's Christmas River Show
Experience a spectacular Christmas show featuring water fountains, lasers, light projections and a festive soundtrack along the Yarra River.
When: Friday 29 November - Wednesday 25 December, every 15 minutes, 9pm - 11pm

Journey to the North Pole
Santa's left a present on Crown's doorstep! Crown's Christmas Present is a free 4-minute experience that will see you flying alongside Santa's sleigh, all the way to the North Pole and back to Melbourne.
When: Friday 29 November - Sunday 1 December, Thursday 5 December - Sunday 8 December, Thursday 12 December - Sunday 15 December, Thursday 19 December - Wednesday 25 December, 12pm - 10pm

Christmas Carols
Sing along to your holiday favourites at Crown's Christmas Carols with special guests, the Gospo Choir.
When: Saturday 21 December | 7:30pm - 8:30pm

Christmas on the Riverwalk
The Crown Riverwalk will be lit with dazzling light displays and festive giant bauble installations. Visit to take magical Christmas snaps with family and friends.
Be entertained by roving Christmas characters around Crown and along the Riverwalk including bouncy elves, giant candy canes, musical duos, skating elves and toy soldiers, plus special appearances by our Samoyed puppies.
