Cross Keys Reserve Playground, Bridge Street, Essendon
A delightful playground which has a little bike track with road signs and petrol pump, trampoline on top of a volcano, huge family sized see-saw, colourful and fun activity wall and cute shopfront for a pet store and cafe.
There is a rubber drum to jump up and down on, beautiful wooden carvings (owl, possum, frog, bat, tarantula), birds nest swing, swing with harness seat, standard swing, log and rock steppers and a tall tower with a tightly twisting spiral tunnel slide. The slide can be reached by steps. The tower also has a high scrambling wall, rope net ladder, tunnel, small slide and climbing wall.
Shelter with table, unshaded table and seats, BBQ, water tap and basketball court. Next to a huge sports field. There is a toilet at the pavilion which are locked except when sorts are being played. There's an outdoor gym on the other side of the pavilion.
