Review:
The play centre is housed in a long, thin and high building with the three storey play structure at the far end. On the right side are the cafe, toilets and five birthday rooms decorated with different themes (Beach, Pirate, Princess, Space and Circus). On the other side is a fenced toddlers area (for under 4 years old) plus a big jumping pillow. Running down the middle are lots of tables (some reserved for parties and some for general admission).
The Toddlers area has a little jumping castle, soft blocks, a slide and an elevated platform with access via a crawl/walkway or steps. Getting off the platform is executed using two steep and fast slides. Everything in here is well padded and soft. Outside the fenced area is an area with padded walls, some panels and toys. This area also has some rides and games requiring extra payment (my pet play centre hate).
The main play structure has a high four lane slide on one side, two steep almost vertical slides which are open all the time (all of these slides originate from the highest level of the structure) and a smaller spiral slide. In the middle is an area where you can shoot balls from multiple levels (would be better if these canons could be directed to shoot up and down as well as left and right), platforms, ramps and plenty of statues of wild animals such as a hippo, elephant, zebra and tiger. We didn't see any crocodiles but who is going to complain when you see a Savannah full of other animals. Canons at the bottom shoot balls upwards and balls are thrown up in the air from another canon. There is also a ball pit in a mesh cage plus a short steep slide, plenty of Burmese bridges, obstacles and tunnels.
Going around and through the structure is a track on the floor for bikes and kid powered cars - which is a collision waiting to happen.
If you don't like crowds then avoid the lunchtime party rush on weekends (especially on Sundays). There were a lot of parties happening when we visited.
The birthday rooms were nicely themed and the birthday coordinator plays dress-up e.g. wearing a lifeguard T-shirt for the beach theme and wearing a Princess dress for the Princess party theme (although the dress looked more suitable for knocking about the castle on a Sunday morning rather than going to the Grand Ball)
A few negatives were lack of long exciting slides, no educational areas and a real excitement factor was missing.
