Corop - Greens Lake
Greens Lake, which is no longer required for water storage and is used for recreation, is situated about 7.5 kilometres north-east of Corop. Activities include swimming, boating, fishing and camping.
Facilities include a boat ramp, large grassy area, car parking, shower and toilet block, barbecue area and picnic tables. Motorbikes are banned.
Camping
Free camping is permitted on the western foreshore of Greens Lake for no more than seven consecutive days. Note that Greens Lake operates under a Carry In - Carry Out rubbish policy so please keep your campsite tidy and take your rubbish with you.
The site is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed. There is a dump point next to the toilet block.
Camp fires are permitted but please check the local CFA fire bans and rules. You will need to supply your own firewood.
Opening Hours:
Greens Lake is open to the public all year round except for the New Years Eve period. The Lake is closed to the public on the 30th and 31st of December and re-opens on the 1st of January.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are permitted on-leash.
