    Our Suggestions

    • If you want your money's worth then plan to be there EARLY before the crowds get too large.
    • Pre-book your tickets online to avoid the queues and save money.
    • If you want thrill rides for kids older than 12 then go to Luna Park.
    • If you want exciting water rides then go to Funfields.
    • If you want some water rides and a range of other activities then head to Adventure Park Geelong.
    • If you want to combine a range of animal experiences with a few dry rides and a good range of water rides then take the trip out to Gumbuya World.
    • This season the peak prices for Gumbuya World are much higher than the other parks, especially when you add in $70 per person for avoiding slide and ride queues.
    • If you want to have a big picnic or barbeque, don't go to Gumbuya World since you can only bring in very limited food.
    • Evaluate an annual pass since it could provide value.
    • Buy a membership to Small Ideas which offers discounts to all of these theme parks (except Adventure Park Geelong), Queensland theme parks and more than 500 family activities across Melbourne and Victoria.
    • If you just want some water slides then head to an Aquatic Centre. It will be a lot cheaper and you might get more rides.
    • If you are stone broke then find a free water play park or playground.
