Cockatoo Tennis Club
Cockatoo Tennis Club is a small club situated in Alma Treloar Reserve, Cockatoo, next to Cockatoo Creek and the Community gardens behind the Cockatoo Bowls Club. It is a relaxing and quiet spot for enjoying a hit of tennis.
We have 4 outdoor synthetic grass courts with lights and a Club room with kitchen and access to toilets.
Competitions
We offer both Social and competition memberships. We also run regular Social nights.
We enter teams in the following competitions:
Mid-week Ladies - Dandenong District Tennis Association (DDTA)
Waverley District Tennis Assocication (WDTA)
Night Tennis - Knox District Night Tennis Association (KDNTA)
Junior - Berwick & District Tennis Association (BDTA)
Coaching
Deb Carr, from Champion Academy, is our Head Coach, a former tennis professional who has been coaching sport for over 20 year. She is a Tennis Australia Advanced Level Tennis Coach. Deb Carr uses the latest international learning methods to accelerate skill development, while providing a fun, engaging environment. Lessons are specifically developed for your age and skill level. Deb offers cardio tennis, group and private lessons for all ages and abilities.
Court Hire
Court Hire is available from Cockatoo IGA at 34 McBride Street.
