Cobram - The Old Log Cabin
The Old Log Cabin is a preserved settler house which is one of the original log homes of the district. It has some exhibits inside the building.
If the Cabin is not open you can admire the wonderful exterior construction and take a peek at the interior exhibits through the windows. The log cabin is constructed from large boxwood trees, is covered with a bark roof and has earthen floors. The bark roof is covered over with a corrugated iron roof.
The Log Cabin was originally erected in the Yarrawonga district as a home for the Toms family around 1874 and was moved to its present site in 1977.
To the west side is the H.H. Farrall Park which has large grassy areas and a shelter with two tables and BBQ. There is a toilet nearby.
Opening Hours:
The log cabin is open 8.30-5.30 7 days a week
