Christmas Lights (The Boulevard, Ivanhoe)
This is the most well known and famous Christmas lights area in Melbourne which has been happening for over half a century. The area attracts thousands of visitors and traffic jams and parking difficulties is par for the course. Added attractions include food carts selling food, coffee and ice-cream and performances from local musicians.
The lights typically run from mid December 8:30pm to 11pm.
Note: Council typically provides traffic management in the area from 20th to 24th December
