In the middle of the large park is a playground with lots of BBQs and tables plus bins. Dogs are not allowed within 20m of the playground or BBQ.
On the east side is a nice oval ringed with trees, an area with cricket nets and a water tap with bowl. There are unshaded and shaded seats scattered around the edge of the oval.
On the west side of the playground is another nice big oval ringed by trees with more unshaded seats and a bin at the north west side of the oval.
Cheltenham Park is bordered by Park Road, the Cheltenham Golf Club boundary, the Cheltenham Pioneer Cemetery and the western boundary of the flora and fauna reserve.
