Chelsea Longbeach Surf Life Saving Club
The Chelsea Longbeach Surf Life Saving Club was formed in 1917 and has been serving the community keeping our beach safe. The club a non for profit, community based organisation which endeavours to provide pathways and opportunities for adults and children in life saving and to become active members in the local community. The club has had a long tradition of competing in local and state carnivals across Victoria.
Chelsea Longbeach Surf Life Saving Club provides a service to the community by keeping our beach safe. Patrols are run from November through to April each summer season on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. The club also provides training and education relating to the beaches, patrols and the local animal and plant life. A Nipper program is run every Saturday during the summer season and participate in Nipper competitions though out the season also. If you are looking for a sport with a difference & you love the beach. This is the place for you.
