Centenary Park Playground, Leonie Avenue, Bentleigh East
Playground has lots of equipment which can be traversed from end to end. The higher end has a slide, ladder, disks on a vertical pole, walkway, chain ladder, climbing wall, fireman's pole, telescope and climber with square steps. This is connected to a lower area for younger kids with flying fox, monkey bars, hanging disks, frame (for a missing vertical rope spiders web climbing frame), another climber with square steps, slide, steps, shop front, tunnel, abacus and educational panels. There is also a very large pyramid rope climbing frame and swings.
Some shaded seats. Half of the playground is covered by shade sails. Next to golf practice nets, basketball / netball court, tennis wall, cricket training nets and two sports grounds (cricket and football). Toilets. There is an exercise station, BBQ and two tables under a shelter. Water tap.
Access for Dogs:
The western side of Centenary Park is on-leash (closest to Brady Road, including the western sports ground).
The eastern side of Centenary Park is off leash (closest to Bignell Road, including the eastern oval).
