Caulfield Racecourse Reserve Playground, Glen Eira Road, Caulfield East
There is a public space in the middle of Caulfield Racecourse which has a playground.
Next to the carpark in the centre of the racecourse is a horse themed "Spin the Dice" under a shelter. Unfortunately the numbers on the dice are faded which makes the game more challenging to play. The game is played with the following rules:
1. Roll the dice to determine the number of moves along the board.
2. If you land on a horse shoe, you follow and go through. If you land on horse poo, you go back two.
3. The first player to reach the finish line wins.
Nearby are public BBQs, water tap, unshaded table, toilets, outdoor gym, big grassy areas and lake for fishing (catch and release).
The reserve is accessed via a tunnel from the Glen Eira Road Entrance (corner of Kambrook Road) or the Guineas Tunnel Entrance (Gate 21) which are open after 9:45 am. There is public access every day apart from race days and major events.
