Caulfield Park Playground, Inkerman Road, Caulfield North
Very bright and colourful playground set around a bowl of soft spongy material. Best suited to younger children, Includes paths, ramps, walkways, slides (including a short tunnel slide), various ladders and fun things to keep the kids entertained. A lot of the playground is protected by sail cloths. Shaded seats and table.
There is an aviary garden which is a habitat for the local birds. Shelter with tables, BBQs and unshaded seats.
A new section was added which includes swings, a giant orange snail springer, big car springer, little climbing pyramid, drums, lotus leaf with hand wheel, music desk, interesting educational panels and plastic basket ball ring. A very nice addition for the younger kids.
There is an outdoor gym circuit around Caulfield Park.
There are three playgrounds in Caulfield Park - at Inkerman Road, Balaclava Road and Park Crescent.
Access for Dogs:
There is a large portion of Caulfield Park that is designated as an off-leash area. Specifically, this area encompasses the 6 sporting grounds in the centre of the park. The Hawthorn Road end and the Park Crescent end are both on-leash areas.
