Carrum Surf Life Saving Club
Carrum Surf Life Saving Club provides surf rescue patrols to Carrum beach and aquatic awareness and drowning prevention education to Carrum, Patterson Lakes and surrounding areas.
There are activities and opportunities for people of all ages and the Carrum Surf Life Saving Club provides the perfect family activity centre.
The club covers a range of areas including:
- Lifesaving - The club has a volunteer beach patrol service that runs from November - Easter each season. In addition to this we offer a range of awards such as IRB driver and crew, Spinal Management, Bronze Medallion and more!
- Competition - The Carrum SLSC have a group of dedicated competitors who compete in a range of beach and water events.
- Nippers (aged 6 - 13) - Our nipper program is growing each season and the best thing about it is anyone can be involved. The program offers coaching, management, safety and participation opportunities for parents, friends and participants.
- Social - We run a range of social activities throughout the season
- Fundraising - Our club is a non for profit organisation. This means we run a range of fundraising activities throughout the season which our members can assist with.
