Carnegie Library Storytime

Storytime for pre-school children - Provides parents with a wonderful opportunity to introduce young children to the joys of reading and selecting books. The sessions run from 30 to 45 minutes and are usually developed around a particular story or theme. Along with reading stories, the session may include music, songs and rhymes suitable for preschool children aged 3 to 5 years. The sessions are fun and relaxed and afterwards children have time to select their own picture books to take home.

BabyTime storytime for babies 0 to 2 years-of-age - Stimulate and inspire little brains with songs, rhymes and mini stories. The sessions are specifically developed to:
- enhance and stimulate their senses;
- promote the skills of word association from an early age;
- introduce the rhythm of language; and
- have fun
