Carisbrook - Talisman Mine
The site has remnants from the mining period including including machinery foundations, multiple (filled in) shafts, large mullock heaps and an adit (a horizontal tunnel) which is mostly caved in.
Access to site - The mine is located in the Craigie State Forest, in the triangle between Maryborough, Carisbrook and Craigie. Access via Talisman Track.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are permitted on leash.
