Cardina LiFE has a variety of programs, services and facilities to suit the needs of the community. The ever expanding range of programs are developed with the ideals of "access for everyone".

25m Indoor Swimming Pool
The 25m 8 lane indoor swimming pool is heated to 29 degrees C. It has a maximum depth of 1.7metres and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities as it includes a ramp for wheelchair entry.
Program Pool
The Program pool offers benefits to a wide range of people as it is heated to 32 degrees C. Aquatic Education lessons for our younger participants develop their skills in the program pool as well as recreational swimmers, families and hire groups. This pool can also be accessed by those who are less mobile as it includes a ramp for simple pool entry.
Leisure Pool
The leisure pool has been specifically designed for babies, toddlers, yound children and their parents. It has a maximum depth of .25m and consists of a shallow beach entry, fountains and jumping jacks. The area provides a fun and exciting experience for parents with babies and young children and encourages them to explore and to familiarise themselves with water.
Accessible Change Room Facility
The easily accessible family and disabled change rooms make the family swimming outing so much easier. There are plenty of spacious family change rooms, seating areas and showers to help make your aquatic experience more enjoyable and comfortable.
Aquatic Education
Infant Aquatics (6mnths-3.5yrs)
The infant program encourages parent child bonding through exploration of the aquatic environment. The program encourages participation in a range of activities which develop parental and child knowledge of water familiarisation. Children are grouped according to age.
Shrimp 6 - 15 months
Periwinkle 15 months - 2 years
Minnow 2 years - 3.5 years
Starfish 2 years - 3.5 years
Preschool Aquatics (3.5yrs-school age)
Students are given the opportunity to develop their skills and abilities in a caring and supportive atmosphere. While forming positive relationships, children are encouraged to develop independence as well as being introduced to stroke development and water safety skills.
School Age Aquatics
The AquaSafe program gives students the opportunity to develop confidence and build relationships to achieve their goals. Under the teachers guidance students will learn stroke techniques and water safety skills.
Aquaguard
The YMCA AquaGuards program allows students to challenge themselves, to be involved in a team environment and to learn and progress at their own pace while having fun and interacting with others. The program focuses on Rescue competencies, survival strokes, open water environments & introduction to resuscitation techniques. The program is based on Lifeguard & Water Safety competencies, aiming to teach students skills that one day could help save a life. Aimed at students aged between 7-12 yrs who are competent in and around water, the program runs on a Monday night at 5pm.
AquaSafe School Holiday Program
The program is aimed at Primary School aged children and classes run for 45 minutes starting at 9am each day, with children graded according to their ability level.
