Capital Reserve Playground, Capital Avenue, Glen Waverley

A flag proudly flies above a high wooden castle with a nice, steep wave slide. Around the base, I couldn't find a moat but there are steps, shop front, rope ladder, clanger to hit against pipes, speak and listen system and disks on hanging ropes - which are useful to storm the castle when the inhabitants are sleeping or not paying attention.

Also a see-saw, spinning lotus leaf with handwheel, log steppers, balance beam, birds nest swing, expression swing and standard swing. Unshaded table and seat. Near a big grassy oval and an unshaded table. Most of the equipment can be reached by soft accessible paths.

The reserve has a large playing oval, cricket nets and off leash dog area.

The reserve is also home of the Glen Waverley Junior Soccer Club, Glen Waverley Hawks Cricket Club, Legend Park Tennis Club and Glen Waverley Hawks Auskick.
